Amazing Race CYIA

Amazing Race CYIA is organized by a local children's ministry called Child Evangelism Fellowship of Manitoba (CEF of MB). The Amazing Race CYIA began in 2018 in an effort to raise funds that were 'taken away' as a result of the government adding an unclear attestation to the Canada Summer Jobs Grant application that would have been used to support summer student workers. That first year was a success and we are continuing it in 2019, and with partners like Over18 and CHVN we are planning to use the race as a platform to raise awareness for the effects pornography has on children in Canada.

Funds raised help us equip and send out our passionate and energetic youth to reach children in Manitoba.

Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish them in the local church for Christian living.

The primary ministries of CEF Manitoba are Discovery Time in public schools, Truth Chasers Club (mail in discipleship course), and 5-Day Club (summer ministry). Through these programs, fully trained and screened staff and volunteers teach children and help to shape their character.

In Manitoba, we face many challenges that affect our children physically, mentally, economically and spiritually. CEF Manitoba aims to minister to the needs of children to help meet these challenges.

CEF Manitoba loves to partner with individuals, families, churches and other Christian organizations to reach the children. There are many opportunities for you to be involved! Check out our website for opportunities.

Each year we wrap up the summer with what we call a Celebration Night. It's a fantastic evening of celebrating what God has done throughout the summer in the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Manitoba - including a delicious supper, energetic performances and awe-inspiring reports.
